About Us
Laura Franklin Rehab is a physiotherapist-led clinical Pilates and rehabilitation service based at Victoria House, Guiseley, Leeds. Our team delivers an integrated care pathway from MSK physiotherapy through clinical Pilates to long-term functional strength. We run over 1,100 client sessions per month from our purpose-built Reformer Studio (Balanced Body Allegro 2), Mat Studio, and treatment rooms.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a freelance Reformer Pilates instructor to take on an established timetable of group Reformer sessions, including evening and weekend slots. This is a caseload of existing, loyal clients who know the studio and know what to expect. We need someone who can step in confidently and maintain the quality of instruction our clients are used to. This is a professional, clinically governed environment and we are looking for someone who values that structure.
Essential
- Comprehensive Reformer Pilates qualification from a recognised provider (Polestar, APPI, Modern Pilates, Body Control, or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience delivering group Reformer sessions in a studio environment
- Confident adapting exercises in real time for clients presenting with MSK conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, or movement limitations
- Comfortable working within a clinical supervision framework alongside physiotherapists
- Available for regular evening and weekend sessions
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Self-employed with the ability to invoice for services
Highly Desirable
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with Reformer Pilates teaching experience
- Experience working in a clinical, rehabilitation, or physiotherapy-led Pilates setting
Desirable
- Additional training in clinical Pilates, pre/post-natal Pilates, or neurological conditions
- Familiarity with Balanced Body equipment
- Interest in developing your clinical knowledge through ongoing CPD and supervision
- First aid qualification
