We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated, and experienced Sonographer to join our Ultrasound Service in North East London.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Ultrasound Clinical Lead in the organisation, supervision, and mentorship of junior and newly appointed staff
- Delivering a consistently high standard of clinical practice in line with service and governance requirements
- Ensuring all ultrasound examinations are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest professional standards
- Performing and independently reporting a broad range of non-obstetric ultrasound examinations, including:
- Abdominal
- Scrotal
- Renal
- Gynaecology (Transvaginal and Transabdominal)
- Musculoskeletal (MSK)
- Vascular
Essential requirements:
- Current HCPC registration
- Proven ultrasound experience within the UK
- Ability to scan and report independently, working collaboratively with a Clinical Support Worker
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
- A minimum of 900 independently reported ultrasound scans within the last 12 months
