Tele-Dermatologist Remote Working

Full-time or part-time roles available. Self-employed contracts also available. Competitive salary/package, dependent on experience.

We are seeking a dedicated Tele-Dermatologist, working remotely, who will provide consultancy services in support of our Dermatology services and will undertake tele-dermatological diagnostics as required. You will review images of lesions and rashes captured by our trained skin health assessors, making recommendations for the patients’ treatment journey.

Key Duties:
  • Reviewing digital images and clinical information provided.
  • Making a diagnosis or differential diagnosis based on the provided information and formulating a management plan.
  • Rapidly triaging suspected skin cancer cases to determine if they require urgent in-person review or direct booking for surgery.
  • Monitoring the progress of chronic conditions like acne, eczema, or psoriasis remotely and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Recognizing cases that are unsuitable for remote assessment (e.g., poor image quality, complex rashes, or if a biopsy is required for a definitive diagnosis) and converting the case to a face-to-face consultation.
  • Maintaining accurate, contemporaneous electronic patient records, ensuring all patient information, images, and communications are securely stored and managed according to data protection regulations like GDPR.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
Role Requirements:
  • Full GMC registration.
  • MRCP or equivalent.
