ABOUT THE ROLE
At Launchmetrics, content is a strategic lever. Our insights power the decisions of the world's leading Fashion, Lifestyle and Beauty (FLB) brands, turning data into narratives that shape conversations and drive business impact. Reporting to the VP of Brand & Communications, the Content and Social Media Associate Director will own the development, execution and performance of Launchmetrics’ global content and social media strategy, driving initiatives that amplify the company's voice, engage key audiences and deliver measurable business impact. Operating as a key connector across Marketing and cross‑functional teams, you will define strategic direction and ensure effective execution, aligning content with business priorities, maintaining a consistent brand voice and taking ownership of team initiatives end‑to‑end. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Launchmetrics’ authority across the FLB ecosystem through high‑impact storytelling and thought leadership while generating qualified leads to support business growth. In close collaboration with the VP of Brand & Communications, the Content and Social Media Director leads and develops the broader Content team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and evolution of the global content and social media strategy, supporting broader business objectives.
- Shape and oversee the editorial and social media calendars, ensuring alignment with business priorities, campaigns and timely cultural conversations.
- Act as the final editorial gatekeeper, reviewing and approving content to ensure quality, consistency and strong storytelling.
- Author and lead the development of pillarstone and thought leadership content that positions Launchmetrics and its executives as a leading voice in the industry.
- Orchestrate the execution of content initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand voice.
- Consolidate and analyze performance data, defining KPIs and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Partner with stakeholders across the marketing team (Brand & Business Marketing, SEO, Design, Digital) as well as cross‑functionally (Product and Customer Success).
- Embed AI tools and workflows to maximize productivity, accelerate production cycles and empower the team to focus on high‑impact strategic and creative initiatives.
- Lead and develop the Content team, overseeing performance and ongoing skills development.
ABOUT YOU
- 8+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial or communications, with experience in a leadership role and a proven track record of successful strategies.
- Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and execute content initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to maintain and elevate a strong brand voice. EN native preferred.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, audience engagement strategies and emerging trends.
- Strong understanding of the Fashion, Lifestyle and Beauty industries.
- Effective cross‑functional skills, with the ability to align stakeholders, influence across teams and drive initiatives across the business.
- Data‑driven and analytical, with experience using analytics tools to measure performance and derive insights that inform decisions.
- Solid understanding of SEO/AEO principles.
- Familiar with AI tools and an advocate for applying them thoughtfully across content and editorial workflows.
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Solution‑oriented and hands‑on, able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
