We are seeking a team-focused, inspiring mathematician to lead Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5. This role offers the opportunity to shape an ambitious, knowledge-rich curriculum and foster a deep, lasting curiosity about Mathematics that extends well beyond the classroom. You will join a modern, growing academy with a clear and purposeful ethos and play a key role in ensuring every student is supported to thrive academically and personally. The position is permanent and full-time, starting in April or sooner, at a growing and thriving academy in West London.
The school has recently opened a Sixth Form and are therefore looking for a Head of Department who can help drive forwards and expand KS5 teaching within the school, while also managing GCSE curriculum to ensure the continuation of strong results, learning and student enjoyment. Character development and academic excellence sit side by side in this school. Students benefit from a state-of-the-art learning environment, a rich co-curricular programme, and strong partnerships with external organisations that help them see how learning connects to the wider world.
