Headteacher - Launcelot Primary School & Nursery

Launcelot Primary School and Nursery is seeking aninspirational, ambitious and compassionate Headteacher to lead our welcomingand inclusive school through the next stage of its improvement journey.

The successful candidate will:

• Havesuccessful senior leadership experience in a primary school, with a provenability to improve teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.

• Bean inspiring and visible leader who develops a clear vision, sets highexpectations and builds positive relationships with children, staff,families and governors.

• Demonstratea strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment andevidence-informed teaching, with the ability to lead sustainable schoolimprovement.

• Bepassionate about inclusion, with the expertise to ensure pupils with SEND,EAL and other barriers to learning are supported to achieve their fullpotential.

• Developand empower staff through effective professional development,collaboration and supportive accountability.

• Havethe strategic and operational skills to manage resources effectively,strengthen safeguarding systems and ensure the school's long-termsustainability.

• Valuethe wider development of children, protecting the enrichmentopportunities, positive culture and sense of belonging that make Launcelotspecial.

Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a degree or equivalent qualification, and have a commitment to continuedprofessional development. An NPQH, or willingness to undertake it, is required.
