We are currently recruiting a Gas Safe Engineer/Plumber to join our family run business. Here at Laughton & Wallace Ltd, we have over 50 years of experience in plumbing and heating and offer a wide variety of services to our customers including plumbing/boiler installations & repairs.
No two days are the same and we are looking to recruit a reliable, ambitious, and well organised gas engineer to join our friendly team of experts.
Key responsibilities for the position are:- Undertaking boiler installations and competent with all plumbing systems i.e., Y plan, S plan, Combi and conventional systems.
- Complete all works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations.
- 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems.
- Carry out electrical work on domestic bathroom installations.
- Complete all wiring on boiler installations (thermostat/hive controls).
- Diagnose electrical faults.
- Completion of all paperwork and money handling.
- Liaise with administration.
- Ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
- Ability to diagnose any fault on an extensive range of boilers and heating systems.
- Previous gas/heating/plumbing experience is essential.
- Can do attitude to problem solving.
- Be customer focused with excellent communication skills.
- Be organised, reliable and have attention to detail.
- Full clean UK driving license.
It is imperative while on site that due diligence is met with the utmost care and attention to detail. Our focus is to consistently deliver high levels of customer service and exceed our customers' expectations.
