We are currently recruiting a Gas Safe Engineer/Plumber/Electrician to join our family run business. Here at Laughton & Wallace Ltd, we have over 50 years of experience in plumbing and heating and offer a wide variety of services to our customers including plumbing/boiler installations & repairs.
No two days are the same and we are looking to recruit a reliable, ambitious, and well organised gas engineer to join our friendly team of experts.
Key responsibilities for the position are:- Undertaking Boiler installations and competent with all plumbing systems i.e., Y plan, S plan, Combi and conventional systems.
- Complete all works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations.
- 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems.
- Carry out electrical work on domestic bathroom installations.
- Complete all wiring on Boiler installations (thermostat/hive controls).
- Diagnose electrical faults.
- Completion of all paperwork and money handling.
- Liaise with administration.
- Ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
- Ability to diagnose any fault on an extensive range of boilers and heating systems.
- Previous gas/heating/plumbing experience is essential.
- Can do attitude to problem solving.
- Be customer focused with excellent communication skills.
- Be organised, reliable and have attention to detail.
- Full clean UK driving license.
