About us
We are currently searching for an Experienced Gas Safe Engineer to carry out boiler installations and electrical works to join our family run business!
Here at Laughton & Wallace Ltd, we have over 50 years of experience in plumbing and heating and offer a wide variety of services to our customers including plumbing/bathroom installations and boiler installations & repairs. We aim to provide a one-stop-shop solution to all of our clients while always working to the highest standard
No two days are the same and we are looking to recruit a reliable, ambitious, skilled and well organised/motivated gas engineer/plumber to join our friendly team

Key responsibilities for the position are:
- Undertaking Boiler installations and competent with all plumbing systems i.e, Y plan S plan, Combi and conventional systems
- Complete all woks in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
- Completion of all paperwork and money handling
- Liaise with administration
- Ensure customer safety and satisfaction
- Complete all necessary electrical work
- Complete general plumbing maintenance (radiators/trv's)
Essential requirements:
- Ability to diagnose any fault on an extensive range of boilers and heating systems
- Previous gas/heating experience is essential
- Can do attitude to problem solving, customer focused-professional with excellent communication skills
- Be customer focused with excellent communication skills
- Be organised, reliable and have attention to detail
- Full clean UK driving license
- Team player-collaborative yet able to work independently when needed
- High standards-motivated to deliver excellent work and most importantly represent the company professionally
It is imperative while on site that due diligence is met with the up most care and attention to detail. Even though we are a small company our focus is to consistently deliver high levels of customer service and exceed our customers expectations. Must have solid experience in all aspects of boiler installations/plumbing/electrics

- Monday to Friday

- St Helens: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
