Commercial / Residential Valuation Surveyor – MRICS – 1-2 years PQE – Remote working – Hiring in South London – £50,000 – £62,500basic salary offering.
Founded over 20 years ago, my client are a now team of around 60 covering mainly London and Southeast England, primarily focusing on secured lending work, covering all sectors.
Their valuation workload is mainly commercial and residential secured lending work. They are on several bank panels and various key panel managers as well as direct relationships with banks and then private instructions from developers and the likes of. Typical workload expectations is 2-5 jobs per week depending on the complexity.
It is worth mentioning that they do hire surveyors who have residentialonly, commercial only or trading only experience, if you have preferences on sector or type of work, they will often do their best to accommodate.
Offering:
- Basic salary between £50,000 – £62,500depending on location, experience and contacts
- Matched 4% pension through Nest

- They are in the process of introducing a buddy system to help new joiners get to grips with any new systems etc.
- Very stable business in terms of staff, low staff turnover which can be seen on LinkedIn. Bonus scheme explained – Their bonus scheme is 50% of all billing over a threshold target, with 25% going towards the individual surveyor and 25% going towards a team pot which accounts for people who are not eligible for the bonus directly but contribute to the team (juniors, admin etc).
