Part-Time or Full-Time Audit Surveyor (Residential & Commercial Valuations) - Fully remote working, no site visits required. Employed or consultancy options available; no previous auditing experience required.

An established UK valuation practice is seeking an experienced MRICS/FRICS Surveyor to undertake a quality assurance and audit function, reviewing valuation reports before submission to clients. The position can be offered on either an employed basis (anticipated salary range £55,000–£70,000) or via a self-employed consultancy arrangement, depending on individual preference.

The business completes several thousand valuation reports annually across a broad range of residential and commercial instructions, including bridging finance, private banking and panel work. Surveyors are provided access to a comprehensive suite of market-leading data and research platforms. This role would suit an experienced valuation surveyor looking to utilise their technical expertise in a fully remote capacity without the need for regular inspections.

The Role

  • Audit and review residential and commercial valuation reports.
  • Ensure compliance with RICS Red Book standards and client requirements.
  • Provide technical feedback and identify areas requiring amendment.
  • Support consistency and quality across the wider surveyor network.
  • Assist in maintaining high technical and reporting standards across all instructions.

Requirements

  • MRICS or FRICS qualified.
  • Strong residential and/or commercial valuation experience.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience reviewing, auditing or signing off valuation reports would be advantageous.
