Latymer Search is exclusively recruiting on behalf of an established reputable independent Chartered Surveying practice who offers a multi-disciplinary service to its customers, including valuation and advisory, and Building Surveying services. They are unique in that they offer truly attractive remuneration packages, above average to the rest of the market, offer fully remote/hybrid working ongoing support and a flexible non-micromanaging company.
Key points:
- AD or Director level appointment (for all Surveyor joiners).
- Dynamic team with a good sociable and client-facing environment.
- Mix of work to suit but will include building surveys, expert witness, dilapidations and defect reports (depending on experience/preferences they can tailor to suit).
- They undertake work for the likes of Wetherspoons, Mandarin Oriental, Galliard, a number of large housing associations.
- High fee basis, their average fee for a building survey in London is £1,200+VAT.
- One building survey a day only.
- High fees and low-cost overheads allow them to pay more back to surveyors.
- Can be home or office based or hybrid to suit.
- Team of 17 people and will join 5 existing surveyors on the building survey side.
- Very low staff turnover due to what they see as a strong, collegiate and autonomous working environment well supported with administration and IT systems and ultimately strong earnings potential which is consistently delivered.
- At the time of writing, they quote around 20 building surveys a day and workflow is constant so very safe in terms of earning potential and job security.
- They are looking for motivated and overall diligent surveyors who prioritise reporting standards, detail and knowledge over volume.
