Latymer Search is pleased to be representing a mid-sized international Chartered Surveying firm that has large growth goals for the next 3-5 years and is looking for experienced Valuation Surveyors to get involved at the ground level to assist in the mentoring and managing of staff from their early ground level days.
Very friendly team, down to earth and happy to allow people to work with autonomy or provide training/support where needed – regular company meet-ups, including golf days and regular weekly team social calls. Currently a team of eleven; their business targets are to reach a team headcount of circa thirty by 2028, so this is a company that can and will likely offer natural career opportunities as the expansion evolves and responsibilities shift downwards.
In terms of workflow, natural business development will always be necessary although this is not a pressing matter as they have very established workflows, coming from the likes of VAS panel (5-day SLA/report turnaround time) and others. 95% of their workload is loan security work, approx. 70% commercial; the rest being HMO’s, Redbook valuations and residential.
To provide you with an idea of workload and fee levels, the Director I spoke with is doing approx. £30-40k each month carrying out one job per day.
Offering:
- Basic salary – open to discussion depending on experience – approx. £55-85k per annum.
- Lucrative bonus structure – approx. anything over £200k billed, 25% – over £350k billed 40% – also possibly open to discussion depending on experience and location.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
- Car allowance or electric company car option.
- Private Healthcare (single or family).
- Standard state pension.
If you would like to discuss the position above or would like further information – please get in touch with either Luke or Michelle.
