We have recently been appointed to deliver Occupational Health services for one of our key clients. This presents a unique opportunity to join the team at the start of a new partnership, helping to establish a high quality, clinically led service from day one.

As the dedicated onsite Occupational Health Advisor, you'll play a key role in developing trusted relationships with employees and managers, shaping the service and becoming a valued member of the client's team. This is more than just an Occupational Health Advisor role. It's an opportunity to become an integral part of one client's business, working onsite as a trusted health professional who is recognised by employees, managers and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting management referrals and sickness absence assessments
  • Providing balanced, practical fitness for work advice
  • Supporting employees with safe and sustainable returns to work
  • Advising on reasonable workplace adjustments
  • Producing high-quality reports that help managers make informed decisions
  • Providing ongoing support where continuity of care benefits the individual

Key Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Occupational Health qualification, or significant Occupational Health experience
  • Competent in venipuncture, health surveillance and clinical assessment
  • Strong case management and fitness-for-work experience
  • Exceptional communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels
  • A compassionate, proactive and employee-focused approach
  • Self-motivated, with the confidence to work independently while remaining connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team
