Occupational Health Nurse Advisor Latus Group Kingston upon Thames, England, GB
At Latus Occupational Health, we believe the best Occupational Health services are delivered by clinicians who have the time to build relationships, understand the workplace and provide truly person-centred care.
Latus Occupational Health has recently been appointed to deliver Occupational Health services for one of our key clients. This presents a unique opportunity to join the team at the start of a new partnership, helping to establish a high quality, clinically-led service from day one. As the dedicated onsite Occupational Health Advisor, you'll play a key role in developing trusted relationships with employees and managers, shaping the service and becoming a valued member of the client's team.
This is more than just an Occupational Health Advisor role. It's an opportunity to become an integral part of one client's business, working onsite as a trusted health professional who is recognised by employees, managers and leadership teams.
This is a clinic-based role in Shambrook, Bedford, requiring 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). These days will be based on site.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES
- Conducting management referrals and sickness absence assessments.
- Providing balanced, practical fitness for work advice.
- Supporting employees with safe and sustainable returns to work.
- Advising on reasonable workplace adjustments.
- Producing high-quality reports that help managers make informed decisions.
- Providing ongoing support where continuity of care benefits the individual.
You’ll have the time and autonomy to provide thoughtful, evidence based Occupational Health advice, ensuring every consultation adds value to both the employee and the business. Because you’ll be based on one site, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the workplace, allowing your advice to be practical, relevant and tailored to the environment in which employees work.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Current NMC registration.
- An Occupational Health qualification or relevant Occupational Health experience.
- Experience in case management and fitness for work assessments.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- A compassionate, proactive and person-centred approach.
- The confidence to work independently while remaining connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team.
This role requires an individual to work 4 days on site. This is an opportunity to move away from a transactional model of Occupational Health and towards one where you can truly influence workplace health.
By working with one client, you’ll gain a genuine understanding of the people, the workplace and its challenges. You’ll have the opportunity to build trust, provide continuity of care and support employees throughout their careers, rather than meeting
At Latus Occupational Health, we believe exceptional occupational health begins with empowered clinicians. By providing the time, support and autonomy to practise at their best, we enable the delivery of high-quality, people-centred care.
