About the job
Key responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a PR strategy that bridges the gap between complex technology and consumer-friendly storytelling.
- Act as the primary engine for press relations, bringing media connections in-house to build on recent heavy-hitting coverage in national, tier 1 media outlets.
- Navigate the entire supply chain, managing both reputations and communications.
- Help shape the future of the industry by supporting initiatives by engaging with stakeholders across industry and policy.
- Develop and deliver targeted B2B and B2C campaigns that educate the public on the company’s vision while driving commercial demand for licensing partners.
About you
The ideal candidate:
- You bring 4-6+ years of experience in PR and Communications, ideally with a background in technology or consumer.
- You understand how to market a business and can pivot seamlessly between high-level B2B corporate comms and engaging B2C consumer stories.
- You are a natural at pitching and have a proven track record of building lasting relationships with national, trade, and consumer journalists.
- You are a strategic thinker who is also comfortable executing the media kits and press releases yourself.
- You have a “can-do” attitude and the gravitas to handle the fast-paced environment of a scaling innovation company.
