About The Role
As a Community Outreach Nurse - Childcare, you will work directly with early childhood educators, parents, carers and local services to support children aged 0-5 years. This unique role focuses on identifying developmental and health needs early, connecting families to support and creating a strong foundation for lifelong health and wellbeing.
In This Role, You Will:
- Deliver place-based health and wellbeing initiatives in early learning settings.
- Conduct developmental screenings and health assessments to identify needs early.
- Support families to navigate and access health and allied support services.
- Partner with educators to design and implement programs that build healthier, more resilient communities.
- Empower parents and carers through education, engagement and guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with a passion for child and family health.
- Experience working with children and/or vulnerable families.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to person-centred, inclusive care.
