Our manufacturing clients based close to Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Application Specialist to join their growing team. The Sales Application Specialist is responsible for proactively managing customer follow-ups relating to product samples, free-of-charge product requests, quotations, price support requests, and exhibition leads. This role plays a critical part in converting interest into revenue by ensuring timely follow-up, maintaining strong customer communication, and driving opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sample Follow-Up
- Track and monitor all product samples built and sent to customers.
- Follow up with customers to obtain feedback on sample performance, suitability, and next steps.
- Identify opportunities to convert approved samples into production orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sample status and customer responses for FOC samples in strategic markets.
- Quotation & Price Support Follow-Up
- Follow up on price support requests and special pricing quotations.
- Work closely with the sales and technical teams to address objections and accelerate order closure.
- Update CRM with quotation status and forecast updates.
- CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all customer interactions.
- Provide weekly updates on sample status and customer feedback.
