Our electronics manufacturing client is currently seeking a Production Manager to assist with their exciting growth plans. The ideal candidate will have supervisory/management experience within an electronics manufacturing environment. A HND or Degree is also preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electronics background, good leadership skills and ambition to grow. There are growth opportunities within this role, so the ideal candidate will have ambition to develop and excellent communication skills.
- You will be responsible for circa 40 staff members.
- Lead, coach and develop team members.
- Foster a positive team environment.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards.
- Manage machine maintenance, deal with breakdowns and minimise downtime.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods (5S & Six Sigma).
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30am - 16:00pm
Salary: £40,000 p/a - £50,000 p/a
