Our clients have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing team in Waterlooville. The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the development, validation, certification and ongoing improvement of the company's products and associated electronics. The role will focus on the renewal and enhancement of existing control platforms, incorporating lessons learned from legacy products, component obsolescence management, performance improvements and new product requirements. The successful candidate will also lead the design of new electronic hardware and embedded firmware to support the next generation of fire curtain systems. The position combines analogue and digital circuit design, PCB development, embedded software engineering, testing and certification activities. Working closely with mechanical, manufacturing and product development teams, the role will ensure electrical and electronic systems meet the functional, reliability, EMC, safety and compliance requirements of the product.
