We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer to work for a leading and innovative engineering company based in Southampton.
Introduction
The primary role of the Senior Design Engineer will be to lead design and analysis, delivering qualified design solutions on client based development programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and analysis
- Deliver design solutions to customer requirements
- New product design
- Test rig design
- Use of Solidworks and Hyperworks
Ideal Experience:
- Ideally 5+ years industrial experience in a mechanical design role.
- 3D CAD experience, ideally with Solidworks.
- FEA systems experience, ideally with Hyperworks.
- Project delivery in a design and/or analysis role.
- Stress analysis would be ideal
- Ability to perform fundamental engineering calculations.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Highly effective communication.
- Experienced user of MS office products including MS Project.
- Any experience with composites would be an advantage.
Hours: Day Shift - Flex on start and finish times
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Benefits: Pension, Healthcare Scheme, Flexible start and finish times
