Our engineering client (near Eastleigh) is currently looking for a 2D draftsperson - The ideal candidate will have experience of working with sheet metal / steel fabrication.
The role will be working within the Architectural Design department, covering a wide range of products and varied projects in the UK and Europe. In-house training will be given in company procedures, document management and standard products.
Responsibilities
- Draw, update, and maintain designs
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
- Producing CAD models and drawings.
- Creating Bills of Materials / Parts Lists.
- Detail drawings for manufacture in UK and Europe.
- Upkeep of project documentation and drawing revisions.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience
- Experienced Cad Draftsperson.
- 2d Autodesk and AutoCAD.
- Sheet Metal, Steel Fabrication, Special Purpose Machinery
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a similar field or role (preferred)
Hours
Monday to Thursday 8-30am to 5-15pm
Friday 8-30am to 1-00 pm.
Salary:
£38,000p/a - £45,000p/a
Additional benefits:
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- After 5 years of service, holiday will increase to 30 days plus bank holidays.
