Romsey, Hampshire * £17.00 - £20.00p/h * Day Shift | Monday to Friday * Temporary Position * Immediate Start Available We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Lathe Turner to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Romsey. This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled machinist who is confident operating conventional manual lathes and producing precision-engineered components to specification. Key Responsibilities: * Operating manual/conventional centre lathes. * Manufacturing components from engineering drawings. * Working to tight tolerances and quality standards. * Measuring and inspecting finished parts using a range of inspection equipment. * Maintaining a safe and organised work environment. Requirements: * Previous experience operating manual lathes. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Competent using measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Reliable and able to work independently.
