Our engineering clients based in Portsmouth, have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician to join their growing team. They are seeking a Quality Technician who is keen to develop and progress. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Manage and maintain CMM capability to support inspection, verification, and production requirements. * Learn and develop strong working knowledge of PC-DMIS. * Provide support for internal and external quality audits as required. * Develop and maintain quality plans in accordance with tender, customer, and contractual requirements. * Prepare fault investigation reports as required, including root cause corrective action and 8D activities. * Raise non-conformance reports within the ERP system as required. * Administer and maintain the non-conformance management system. * Conduct inspection activities in accordance with business and customer requirements. * Demonstrate practical experience in manual measurement techniques. * Complete actions associated with Drawing Office Instructions in a timely and effective manner. Required skills & experience: * Mechanical Inspection experience * CMM experience not essential, however would be beneficial * Able to read engineering drawings Working hours: Monday – Thursday - 7.30 am to 4.00 pm Friday - 7.30 am to 12.30 pm
