Our clients, based close to Havant, have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join their growing team.
The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Manager and assist strengthening the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance, reducing cost of poor quality, and driving continual improvement across all processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist to maintain and improve the ISO 9001 QMS.
- Internal Auditing
- Ensure customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action
- Monitor closure and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Shop‑floor interaction & investigation
- Tier meeting attendance
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of QMS principles, auditing, and compliance.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and organised.
- Dynamic risk‑based approach to tasks.
- Effective communicator across all levels.
- Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP system proficiency.
