Our clients, based in Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Quality Auditor to join their growing team.

The Lead Auditor reports directly to the Quality Manager and is responsible for:

  • In conjunction with Quality manager, establishing the internal auditing programme
  • Conducting internal audits on the company’s quality, environmental and health and safety systems
  • Conducting external audits as required
  • Preparing Audit reports for the Quality Manager's approval prior to distribution
  • Monitoring and administering the Non-conformance system, including conducting follow up audits and verification of Non-conformance corrective actions
  • Assist Quality Manager in familiarisation/re-familiarisation training for internal auditors as required
  • Maintaining appropriate records
  • Maintaining general housekeeping within the quality Department working areas
  • Responsible for keeping workstation clean and tidy
  • Comply at all times with H&S and Environmental requirements as instructed
  • Ensuring all PPE is of good working order and updating the Manager immediately of any problems. Responsible for all PPE issued
  • Liaise with your manager to identify any training requirements as part of your personal development

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Auditing experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience conducting internal audits

Working hours: 7.30 am to 4.00 pm Mon. Thur. and 7.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday.
