Our clients are actively seeking a Service Engineer to join their growing team. We are seeking candidates that live in the Portsmouth area. The Service Engineer will attend customer sites throughout the UK and conduct the following tasks although not limited:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Emergency callouts
- Upgrades/repairs
- Installation and Commissioning works
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine/planned scheduled maintenance work
- Responding to breakdown and equipment faults
- Diagnosing breakdown problems and carry out first time fix
- Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly prior to signing off
- Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
- Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Ensure van stock is controlled
- Respond to customer enquiries in a professional manner
- Represent the company as an ambassador at all times
- Provide accurate information on activities undertaken
Required skills & experience:
- Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical skills
- Good customer service & communication skills
- Previous service experience would be ideal!
- Happy to travel – UK Driving Licence
Hours: Days and Nights (weekend work also available)
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 - OTE £32,000 - £35,000
