Our manufacturing client based in Southampton are looking for a Soldering Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronic / mechanical assembly of new products, which includes the soldering of gauge wires, fitting of amplifiers / electronics.
- To complete strain gauging on new products.
- Work to IPC 610 standards (if not qualified then an option to once started).
- Complete all paperwork associated with new product builds.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience in PCB Assembly and Soldering to IPC610 standards. Strain Gauging training will be provided. IPC 610 soldering qualifications would be a distinct advantage but training and the course will be provided.
Salary/Hours/Benefits:
- £26,000 starting salary, this will increase due to development and training.
- 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.
- Profit based bonus.
