Our engineering clients, based in Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for an NDT Technician/Inspector to join their growing team. The NDT Technician has overall responsibility and authority for: * Maintaining the daily NDT processes and systems in accordance with the National and inhouse procedures at the requirements of the responsible Level 3. * Undertake NDT inspection work using PT and MT process and interpret and evaluate inspection results against established customer specifications, procedures, and codes. * Develop NDT Techniques that meet customer requirements and adhere to relevant standards prior to submitting them for approval to the responsible level 3. * Producing NDT inspection reports. * Ensuring that the quality of all work produced meets the required standards. * Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office programs. * Maintain accurate technical records of NDT inspections and related activities, including references to the technical data used. Required Experience: * Previous qualifications in BS EN 4179 / PCN or experience of NDT Inspection methods is required. * Experience working within a manufacturing business Working hours: 7.30 am to 4.00 pm Mon – Thurs and 7.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday
