Our clients, based close to Chichester have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their busy production and engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

  • General mechanical/electrical engineering and routine maintenance tasks
  • Attend to and rectify factory machinery breakdowns, utilising best practice for both health & safety and hygiene
  • Fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime and availability
  • Follow and improve upon month on month PPM schedules
  • Be involved in both electrical and mechanical reactive and pro-active maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records for all activity and spares used/requested
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Capable of quickly identifying and efficiently resolving mechanical and/or electrical faults
  • Experience with planned and preventative maintenance
