Logistics Administrator We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Administrator for a leading engineering company based inLymington. Introduction The Logistics Administratorrole is a brand new position due to companygrowth and will be a key function across the business of managingthe site’sexport administration. The role involves liaison between Sales, Despatch, Production and Accounts to ensure thecustomers orders are processed and shipped as seamlessly and efficiently whilst providing professional, reliable and timely updates to the customer. Main Responsibilities: Entering sales orders onto theMRPsystem and issuing order acknowledgements to thecustomers Preparation and issuing of quotations to customers Ensuring compliance: Meeting all national and international shipping and export regulations Preparing documents: Creating all export documents Supporting Despatch to streamprocesses Identifying and implementing cost efficiencies to the existing processes Order Chasing: Managing export sales orders, including documentation and shipping logistics Coordinating Export logistics: Ensuring that every step runs efficiently, from customer inquiry to final delivery Reviewing paperwork: Making sure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly Responding promptly and accurately to customer enquiries Managing the stock of demonstration products for use by sales staff and distributors Supporting participation in trade shows and exhibitions. Organising customer events such as distributor conferences Ideal Skills and Experience Our client are looking for someone with experience in managing export administration and the expertise to provide cost efficiencies and streamline the process. This is a varied role and will suit someone who is prepared to be flexible and take on tasks outside of their immediate brief when needed.
