We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our manufacturing client in the Burseldon area. This role involves supporting production operations by maintaining equipment/machinery, performing minor repairs, and ensuring optimal machine performance. You do not need previous experience in this exact role; anyone with a mechanical background can be considered. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic mechanical maintenance on production equipment
- Assist with machine breakdowns, performing basic machine repairs and adjustments
- Escalate issues and support corrective actions
- Collaborate with Maintenance/Engineering for fault-finding and improvements
- Support trials, training, and CI initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- A mechanical background or hands-on technical skills
- Adaptable to a fast-paced production environment
Shift: Late shift: 14:00pm - 22:00pm (Monday - Friday, early finish on Friday)
Payrate: £15.00p/h
Contract: 3 months, Temp - Perm
