Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer with CMM experience to join their growing team in Portsmouth.
Duties & responsibilities:
Manage and maintain CMM capability to support inspection, verification, and production requirements. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of PC-DMIS, with proven experience in CMM programming. Provide support for internal and external quality audits as required. Develop and maintain quality plans in accordance with tender, customer, and contractual requirements. Prepare fault investigation reports as required, including root cause corrective action and 8D activities. Raise non-conformance reports within the ERP system as required. Administer and maintain the non-conformance management system. Conduct inspection activities in accordance with business and customer requirements. Demonstrate practical experience in manual measurement techniques. Review, develop, and maintain quality procedures as required. Complete actions associated with Drawing Office Instructions in a timely and effective manner. Provide training to operators in inspection techniques and applicable quality requirements. Skills and Experience
Proven experience in CMM programming and operation, preferably using PC-DMIS software. Strong understanding of inspection methods, manual measurement techniques, and quality control requirements. Ability to produce Inspection FAIR Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or precision machining environment. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer quality requirements. Knowledge of non-conformance management, root cause analysis, corrective action, and 8D problem-solving processes. We require someone who is able to complete a Security clearance. Working hours:
7.30 am to 4.00 pm Mon
Thurs and 7.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday TPBN1_UKTJ
