Our engineering clients based close to Fareham have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join their growing team The Design Engineer will be responsible for supporting projects from initial concept through to design, translating customer requirements into practical engineering solutions Role and Responsibilities: * Undertake mechanical design of electromechanical products. * Produce 3D CAD Models, technical drawings and more. * Support component selection. * Manage and implement design changes. * Evaluate solutions Ideal Skills : * Electromechanical skills * CAD, SolidWorks (or Autodesk Inventor) * Electrical and Wiring Schematics / Diagrams / Drawings * BoM and Parts Specification management * Strong verbal communication skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including design, production, quality, and supply chain. * Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities. * Proficient in common computer applications, including MS Office.
