Extrusion Setter / Operator We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Extrusion Setter / Operator with plastics experience to join a leading engineering company based in Romsey. Introduction The primary role of the Extrusion Setter / Operator to assist with the running of extrusion lines, setting the extruder and all downstream equipment. Responsibilities * To set and run extruders, producing quality products * Head, die and pin changing and setting * Barrel and screw cleaning * Assist with the start up and shut down of the extrusion lines * Use fork lift truck and manual means to move raw material and finished products * Trim, cut, wrap and pack extruded product * Bend, form and drill extruded product * Work to the site\’s health & safety procedures Ideal Experience The ideal candidate will have previous experience of a similar role and be familiar with setting and running extrusion equipment and machinery, preferably with plastics. This role will require self motivation and reliability. Salary £34,743 – £41,693 Hours Monday to Thursday from 7.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 7.00am to 1.00pm. There also may be some required night shifts when the business needs which will come with a shift uplift.
