We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join a leading engineering company based in Andover.

Introduction

Due to company growth our client arelooking for anEngineering Manager to lead a small team of Engineers andTechnicians and to manage and deliver new product development projects. This is an excellent opportunity within the organisation and will play a key rolewithin the business.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a small team of Engineers and Technicians
• To manage and deliver new product development projects
• Take a hands-on approach to new product developmentactivity, which whenrequired may includeelectronics, firmware, software and mechanics.
• Identifyand implementdesign improvements to reduce product cost and / or improve product quality and performance
• Createand maintainproject documentation.
• Technical support to customers

Ideal Experience

• 5+ years experience preferably withininstrumentation, special purpose machinery, motion control or robotic systems.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proven project delivery experience
• Good attention to detail
• HNCor higher qualification inMechanical, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Any experience within fibre testing or materials instrumentation would be an advantage.

International travel 3-4 times per year will be required.

Salary:

£55K- £65K

Hours:

DayShift – Monday to Friday
