Our client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with strong 2D and 3D design experience to work within a low-volume, high-value manufacturing environment, supporting the design and development of specialist engineering products.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain detailed 2D wiring layouts
- Create and update accurate 3D models and assemblies
- Extract, manage, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Ensure designs are optimised for assembly and installation
- Maintain effective data control and engineering documentation
- Support engineering projects through the full design lifecycle
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in an Electrical Design Engineer role
- Strong knowledge of 2D design software
- Experience using SolidWorks (2D and 3D)
Contract Details
- Duration: 3 Months+
- Pay Rate: 30.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Location: Fareham
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Early finish every Friday)
