Our engineering client (near Eastleigh) is currently looking for a 2D draftsperson - The ideal candidate will have experience of working with sheet metal / steel fabrication.

The role will be working within the Architectural Design department, covering a wide range of products and varied projects in the UK and Europe.

In-house training will be given in company procedures, document management and standard products.

Responsibilities Draw, update, and maintain designs Manage multiple complex projects at the same time Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities Producing CAD models and drawings.

Creating Bills of Materials / Parts Lists.

Detail drawings for manufacture in UK and Europe.

Upkeep of project documentation and drawing revisions.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience Experienced Cad Draftsperson. 2d Autodesk and Auto CAD.

Sheet Metal, Steel Fabrication, Special Purpose Machinery Minimum 5 years experience within a similar field or role (preferred) Hours Monday to Thursday 8-30am to 5-15pm Friday 8-30am to 1-00 pm.

Salary: £38,000p/a - £45,000p/a Additional benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays After 5 years of service, holiday will increase to 30 days plus bank holidays.
