Are you looking to join a small but growing fantastic company where every employee is a valued key member within the business? If YES, we want to speak to you. Our client in Southampton are looking for an established CNC Turner to run a brand new Doosan Puma 3100LM Lathe with Fanuc controls.

Job Description and Duties:

  • To set and operate a CNC Lathe to produce components to specifications.
  • Programming online and developing and modifying CNC programs.
  • Using Fanuc controls.
  • Reading engineering drawings and understanding ISO tolerances.
  • Identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions in the process.
  • Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Working to safety processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met set by the management team.

The Ideal CNC Turner:

  • Will be confident in setting and operating CNC lathes.
  • Have Fanuc experience or similar transferable controls.
  • On-line programming would be preferred but candidates without may also be considered.

For the right individual there will also be an opportunity to learn offline programming too, so this could be a fantastic move if looking to progress your skills.

Hours: Day Shift 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, 2.30pm Finish Fridays.

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 Plus bonus.
