Our clients are seeking a skilled CNC Sliding Head Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in setting, and operating CNC lathe machines. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, high standards of workmanship, and a proactive attitude toward sharing knowledge and supporting the team. Key Responsibilities • Set and operate CNC sliding head machines • Carry out part inspection using standard measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.) • Ensure components are produced to tight tolerances and quality standards • Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting • Collaborate with the team • Maintain a clean and safe working environment Required Skills & Experience: • Experience with CNC sliding head lathes would be desirable but not essential • Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments • Strong attention to detail and quality-driven Salary and Benefits * Competitive Salary * 25 days holiday plus bank/public hols * Additional 3 days off over the festive period * Employee Assistance Programme * Company pension scheme * Life Cover 3x salary * Company bonus scheme * Cycle to Work Scheme * Weekend call out at an additional rate.
