Our clients based close to Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Operator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in setting, and operating CNC sliding head machines or similar. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, high standards of workmanship, and a proactive attitude toward sharing knowledge and supporting the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC sliding head machines
- Carry out part inspection using measuring equipment
- Experience using Fanuc controls
- Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Keen to develop within a position
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with CNC sliding head machines
- Experience using Fanuc controls
- Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Experience with 5 axis CNC milling
Working hours: Monday - Thursday - 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday - 8:00am - 3:30pm
