We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Miller to join a leading engineering company based in Southampton.

Due to company growth and the purchase of a brand new CNC Machine, our client is looking for a CNC Miller who can program, set, and operate.

Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and operating a HAAS VM3 CNC Milling machine to produce components according to the company's specifications.
  • Develop and modify CNC programs using G-code and CAM software, specifically Fusion 360.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools and ensure their proper installation and calibration.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions on the machine if required.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff, to achieve production goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideal Experience:
  • CNC Milling background, including programming as well as setting and operating.
  • A good team player and ability to learn new products.
  • An apprenticeship would be an advantage.
  • HAAS experience would be an advantage.
Salary: Circa £36K
Hours: Day Shift - Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.30pm
