Introduction Our client are looking for an energetic, driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager with experience of sellingTechnical B2B products into international markets through distributors. Job Description The primary responsibilities of the Business Development Manager are to deliver sales growth targets in the international Industrial B2B sector. Identifying opportunities for their products along with the associated routes to market, make the approaches and provide technical, commercial and marketing support to a range of global distributors, OEMs and integrators in order to deliver sales targets. The role will require considerable international travel and interaction with both government and commercial organisations. Responsibilities Provide support to Distributors in marketing theproducts to their customers, this could involve: Delivering marketing and deployment training to their staff and customers, Providing Marketing and Technical support and materials as required, Providing support at Trade Shows and other marketing events. Identifying and prioritising OEMs and integrators that would value theproduct offering and make opening approaches to engage in commercial discussions. Evaluate the commercial opportunities and assemble appropriate business development plans. Liaise with theTechnical Support Department with regard to the development or specification of products for specific customers Monitor Distributors activity levels and sales, providing monthly reports to the Sales Manager. Manage and interpret OEM and integrator requirements and provide feedback to the Sales Manager. Progress ad hoc sales opportunities. Provide relevant customer information to the Sales Office Manager. Identify and secure relevant marketing literature required to support the commercial activity. Accurately maintain the CRM and other records and databases. Ideal Skills &Experience International experience selling technical B2B products into the industrial sector is essential. The confidence to work independently in an international sales environment. Ideally with a Technical background, withattention to detail A good team player who is adaptable as necessary to changing circumstances. Strong presentation skills, combined with a logical approach to strategic issues. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Ability to travel extensively outside the UK, up to 50% of your time, mostly in Europe Fluency in a foreign language would be beneficial. Long-term career progression into a management role would be open to the right candidate. Salary: £50,000 – Plus company profit based bonus (Generous Pay Reviews) Hours: 8.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday 4 days per week in the office for the first 2-3 weeks, then 2 days i the office when in the UK.
