Latine is a high-end dining destination that fuses elegant French cuisine with vibrant Latin American flavours, set in the heart of Mayfair. Launching soon, this immersive new restaurant blends exceptional gastronomy, refined ambience, and lively entertainment across a 55-seat main dining room, 20-seat terrace, 63-capacity lounge, and a private dining room for 16. We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our opening team - someone with strong leadership, creativity, and the ability to deliver flawless service under pressure. This is a rare opportunity to shape the kitchen culture and contribute to an exciting new concept from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations and lead the team in their absence.
- Ensure precision in plating, consistency in quality, and timely execution of dishes across all services.
- Train, mentor, and inspire junior chefs, fostering a professional and positive kitchen environment.
- Oversee mise en place, stock control, ordering, and daily kitchen organisation.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and allergen compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Front of House and Events to ensure seamless guest experiences.
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Jr Sous Chef in a high-end or fine dining kitchen.
- Passionate about food with deep knowledge of classic French techniques and/or Latin American cuisine.
- Calm under pressure with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excited about joining an ambitious opening and making your mark from the beginning.
