The Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Paraplanner to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in the City of London. This is a pivotal role within our business, sitting at the heart of our advisory process and working in close collaboration with our financial planners to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.

As a Paraplanner at Lathe & Co, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing thorough and well-structured financial plans that reflect each client's individual goals, circumstances and risk profile.
  • Compiling detailed suitability reports and client-facing documentation to the highest standard of accuracy and clarity.
  • Conducting in-depth research on financial products, investment solutions and market developments to support adviser recommendations.
  • Analysing client data and financial information to identify appropriate solutions and help shape tailored advice.
  • Ensuring all casework meets current regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
  • Working collaboratively with the advisory team to maintain seamless workflows and contribute to an exceptional client experience.
  • Use of internal CRM's systems to build recommendations for clients.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, technically capable professional who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates clearly and confidently, and shares our commitment to putting clients first.

  • A working knowledge of financial planning principles and a solid understanding of investment products and markets.
  • Proven experience in report writing, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and accessible way.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to interpret client data to inform sound recommendations.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously without compromising on quality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the team.
  • A Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent professional qualification (CII, CISI) is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in an IFA or wealth management company.
