Overview
In this role you support Latham’s Tax team across Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA) by preparing tax schedules, ensuring compliance and coordinating tax filings. You will work closely with local and global accounting teams to analyze financial data and support partnership, branch and corporate tax returns. The position is based in London with a hybrid work option and offers opportunities to contribute to cross-border tax projects. You will help drive accurate tax processes and collaborate on improving tax procedures within a leading global firm.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external tax advisors/accountants for EMEA tax filings
- Review and reconcile accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and reports; perform QA procedures
- Assist with general tax administration, including payments/notices tracking and reconciliations
- Assist in preparing cash flow estimates and income/tax estimates for partners
- Collaborate with Tax Manager and Director on ad hoc tax projects
Key requirements
- Bachelor
- Professional Accounting or Tax qualification (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA) or working towards
- Experience in general accounting concepts and/or partnership/corporate tax accounting
- Experience with European, Middle East and Asian tax compliance; preparing partnership and corporate tax returns
- Experience in a multi-office professional services organisation
- Superior organisational and follow-through skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Excel reconciliations; identifying variances and explanations
- Understanding of accounting concepts
- Knowledge of tax rules
