Overview
In this role you will lead lateral partner and counsel recruiting for Latham & Watkins, based in London. You will work with the global Partner Recruiting & Integration team and regional partners to attract candidates aligned with the firm’s priorities. You will manage candidate processes, coordinate with internal stakeholders and agencies, and drive best-practice recruitment across the region. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Partner Recruiting & Integration team and agencies to map, source, and plan recruitment approaches within defined practice areas, regions or industries
- Coordinate with Executive Committee, Income Partner and Counsel Committee, firm leadership, and stakeholders to provide updates on pipeline activity and hiring matters
- Apply best-practice project management to ensure high standards and protect the firm’s and candidates’ interests
- Process applications and introductions of partner candidates, ensuring timely distribution of materials to involved decision-makers
- Support a client-service oriented team environment and maintain effective communication across teams
Key requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Recruiting or related law firm experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
