About the Role

The People Analytics Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for providing accurate and secure people data to inform business decisions, while developing reports, dashboards, and metrics using Excel, Tableau, and Power BI to support data-driven human capital strategies. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

  • Building queries using PeopleSoft, Business Objects, and other databases to extract results for various clients
  • Consulting with stakeholders to address data needs and providing ad hoc assistance for general and intermediate-level data requests
  • Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources for effective data management, reporting, and auditing
  • Monitoring the performance and effectiveness of reporting products, troubleshooting issues, and optimising for speed and efficiency
  • Building data visualisations and performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for leadership

Qualifications include:

  • Demonstrate report and query building experience, with proficiency in Power BI, Tableau and SQL for data visualisation, modeling, and analysis
  • Possess systems data extraction experience, preferably with PeopleSoft or Business Objects
  • Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact with people at all organisational levels
  • Experience managing data; human resources data experience, preferably
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
