This role will be responsible for supporting meetings, conferences, and events for key stakeholders, while supporting multiple event projects, in collaboration with other team members, throughout the year from initial conception to onsite execution. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include: Ensuring goals and objectives of the department are met; ensuring that all tasks and duties completed are done within the firm’s set guidelines and policies. Assisting with all day-to-day tasks supporting the staff on the meetings and events team. Assisting with the department’s databases and collecting and inputting data with appropriate judgement and a high level of accuracy. Researching venues for dinners, social gatherings at meetings, and other events. Preparing summaries of appropriate venues, availability, costs, and capacities. We’d love to hear from you if you: Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm. Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a customer-service focus. Display exceptional attention to detail skills for all events to ensure superior attendee experience. And have: A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, preferably. Experience at a professional services organisation. Experience with event management platforms, such as Cvent, preferably.
