Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, this Senior Manager Compliance role is an integral part of Lathams Office of the General Counsel team. This exciting new opportunity will be responsible for overseeing operations and managing non-lawyer personnel within our global compliance framework, while working with the legal compliance team to support and implement compliance strategies and initiatives in alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements. This role will report to the Associate General Counsel and will be located in either our London, or Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and managing a global team of compliance professionals at various levels
- Serving as a liaison between the compliance team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on compliance matters
- Assisting with the development of, and identification of the need for, compliance-related training to relevant business functions
- Proactively staying abreast of regulatory changes and compliance as they relate to the firm
- Conducting research, analysing data, and generating reports as required by the legal compliance team, Deputy General Counsel, Audit and Advisory, and others

- A bachelors degree or an equivalent
- A JD or equivalent legal training, preferably
- Experience managing global compliance teams and programmes for multinational service organisations or global business services teams and programmes for a multinational law firm
